Mohawk carpets combine innovation and comfort to bring the very best in environmentally friendly carpeting options.  For example, their comfortable EverStrand carpet fibre is actually made from recycled plastic bottles. 

The Smartstrand with Dupont Sorona makes use of renewable resources from agriculture.  Fibers are made with ingredients which are produced from corn sugar.  It also doesn’t stain.  Just cleaning with simple water gets rid of even the most troublesome stains, such as wine or mustard. 

Mohawk carpets durability and ease of cleaning have even been subjected to rhino, elephant and camels living on Mohawk SmartStrand carpet for days, as a demonstration of just how easy to clean and how hard wearing this carpet is.
