Solid oak flooring provides a classic, durable and very attractive impression as soon as you enter a room. The flooring is available in a wide range of finishes. Oak Floors are available with bevelled edge or flush fitting. Solid oak flooring can also be provided in a range of thicknesses and widths. Most solid flooring is about 15-25mm in thickness and approx 80-300mm wide.Usually it is nailed directly to a wooden sub floor or if it is concrete it is glued down. Solid oak flooring is rarely laid on underlay and glued at the tongue and groove joints as a solid oak floor usually expands a lot and needs to be held firm to the sub floor. Most oak flooring comes pre-finished so once we install your solid wooden flooring you have that finished look straight away with nothing to do but admire your luxurious new oak floor. We can also source whatever colour you are looking for including white oak flooring and black oak effect.
